China Pesticide Development and Application Association was successfully held in Guiyang

On November 7-8, the fourth Member Congress of China Pesticide Development and Application Association was successfully held in Guiyang. The event brought together more than 500 guests and member representatives from various fields of pesticides across the country.

The meeting was presided over by Zhou Puguo, president of the third Council. Fang Guorong, chairman of Jinwang Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. was invited to attend the two-day meeting.

The three sessions of the Council focused on the general requirements of the central "agriculture, rural areas" work, united and led all members, and strived to practice the purpose of "serving the country, serving the society, serving the masses, and serving the industry", and made a lot of effective work. In the future, the fourth Council will continue to strengthen its own capacity building, in order to promote the high-quality development of China's pesticide industry to make better results.

With all the participants standing up and singing the solemn Musu national anthem, the fourth session of the Member Congress opened, and the General Assembly was presided over by the secretary general of the third Council, Hua Rongjun.

With the national economic development from the high-speed growth stage to the high-quality development stage, the high-quality development of the pesticide industry ushered in good development opportunities. The conference jointly discussed how to respond to the situation, foster new machinery, promote development, and open a new bureau to improve the industry's new quality productivity as the center, around the work and service innovation, to help the transformation and upgrading of China's pesticide industry and sustainable development.

Director Yang Song made a comprehensive analysis of the current development trend of the pesticide industry at the meeting. He stressed the importance of new quality productivity to the development of pesticides in China, to strengthen industry-university-research cooperation, promote resource sharing and complementary advantages.

Secretary Chen Mengshan pointed out that the high-quality development of the pesticide industry has three key indicators: scientific and technological innovation, industrial upgrading and green production, and the high-quality development of the pesticide industry and the high-quality development of agriculture complement each other and are inseparable. In addition, he looked forward to the new council to bravely undertake a new mission, forge a new journey, and strive to create a new situation.

Second Inspector Wang Jianqiang has high expectations for the new council. In the face of the new challenges of comprehensive green transformation and high-quality development of agriculture, he hoped that the association would unite and lead all members, actively play a bridge role, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the pesticide industry and innovative development.

Huang Xiuzhu praised the previous members of the China Pesticide Development and Application Association for their significant contributions to national food security, agricultural product quality safety and ecological environment safety. Director Huang hopes that the new council can unite pesticide enterprises more deeply, and contribute more to the grand goals of accelerating the development of modern agriculture and promoting the comprehensive revitalization of rural areas.

At the meeting, Zhou Puguo, president of the third Council, made a report on the work of the third Council to the General Assembly. The report comprehensively reviews and summarizes the work of the third session of the Council from nine aspects, and puts forward proposals for the work of the next five years.​

Subsequently, the fourth Executive Council was elected at the fourth session of the Council, of which Zhou Puguo was re-elected as the fourth president of the Council, and 79 people including Fang Guorong, chairman of JWIM, were elected as the executive director of the fourth session of the Council. The election process of the meeting is lawful and valid.

President Zhou Puguo delivered a speech. In the next five years, he will work with the Board of Governors and colleagues in the Secretariat in the following three aspects. First, we must strengthen the guidance of party building and improve political standing. Second, we must strengthen precise positioning and improve strategic guidance. Third, we must strengthen self-construction and improve the level of service.

The conference came to a successful conclusion in a happy atmosphere. The successful holding of the conference reviewed the work achievements of the China Pesticide Development and Application Association in the past seven years, pointed out the direction for the development of the next five years, elected a new council and board of supervisors, and jointly promoted the high-quality development of China's pesticide industry.

JWIM will be firm in its original intention and mission, work together with industry colleagues, move forward hand in hand, constantly promote technological innovation, and make greater contributions to the green and high-quality development of agriculture.
